Christmas Shoes

This is the best yet saddest movie. I love it and I cry every time. When I am in the car and hear this song it makes me sad in a good way kind of. There is a second movie that is just as good. If you never seen them you have to watch them, but be prepared to cry.

Gingerbread Houses

I found the perfect gingerbread village kit this year. It had 5 houses to build which is perfect for our family. Well the kit said it came with lots of frosting and candy. Well they lied, it was not even enough candy for one house and the frosting was so hard. Well the kids were excited so we just looked around our pantry for stuff and we found candy and stuff. We decided to use marshmallow cream to hold the houses together because it is so sticky. Well Kevin and my house would not stay up for anything so they ended up in the trash and the kids stayed up just fine, but it was so messy there was no way to make a neat looking house. They had fun so that is all that really mattered, but  I will never buy a kit again. They are such a wast of money, we will just stick with graham crackers and frosting.

Old El Paso Giveaway

My family and I had the opportunity to review the Old El Paso taco seasoning and it was really good. It wasn't spicy and it gave the meat a great flavor. I usually just add some salt an pepper to my meat but I now will start adding the seasoning because my family and I all agreed that it has a much better flavor with the seasoning.

Our Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was a good day. I made a turkey and all the sides, I decided to buy the pies this year but I did make pumpkin cookies which were so good. We had my parents over. Then my parents took my boys home for the night so Kev, Alyssa, and I could do the whole black Friday thing. This was Alyssa's first year that we let her go with us and I think she had a good time. We started at 6:30 Thursday night at Toys-R-Us which opened at 10 P.M. We were one of the first 50 people so we got everything we went there for, it was amazing how many people ended up there. Then we went to Old Navy which opened at midnight. I wanted to get the pj pants for $5 which I got. While I was in line this guy came up to me and ask me If  I was getting the game which I said no cause I had no clue what game he was talking about, so he gave me a paper bracelet and told me to give it to the cashier, so when I did she gave me a game that goes for $40 everywhere for the new kinect thing for XBOX. Anyways we did some other shopping and  got home at 6 AM. I have to say I had a good time having Alyssa to shop with this year.

My drink of choice

As I have said in this blog many times before, nothing is better then Diet coke.

Well I lied to you. I know your all in shock that I would lie but I have. This time of year there is another drink that I love. It is not the same love I have for diet coke but I do love it. It is peppermint mocha from Starbucks. If you have not tried it you must. They don't have it year around, it is only a holiday drink and it is so good.

I don't drink coffee so my solution to the winter when everyone is always drinking coffee out of there cute mugs, is Diet Coke in my cute cup and nobody will ever know. "Except me and I wish it were something nice and hot"  There is a short period of about a month and a half when I can have a cute mug and have something hot in it. So yes I wish Starbucks would have peppermint mocha on hand so I could be cool like everyone else and really have something other then Diet coke in my mug on those freezing cold days.

I have been sick

So the last couple days I have been sick. My body has hurt so bad even my face hurts. My throat hurts and feels really swollen, it even hurts to talk. I have been taking adult medicine which has not helped at all. This morning I woke up and wanted to curl up in a little ball and die. I felt so sick. I decided to take my kids medicine and it worked so good. The pain was gone, my throat didn't hurt anymore and I could talk with out all he pain. My throat still feels really swollen but I feel so much better as long as I keep my kids medicine down. I am not sure what they have in it but it helped me when the adult strength couldn't.

So my point to this story is if the adult strength medicine is not helping you go and try the kids strength.

Cookie Cutter

My daughter was suppose to say a speech today on cooking and she needed to take props so she took stuff to make cookies. She knew what she needed because she had made them many times before so I didn't need to help her gather all the stuff. Well she came home today and was saying that no one in her class had to do there speeches because they had a surprise visit from the weather man from the news station. So this evening I was going through her back pack and noticed one of my old cookie cutters that I had thought I got rid of from a bachelor party. It is shaped as a penis. She didn't realize it but I would of been so embarrassed if the class and her teacher seen it. I know her teacher would of knew what it was and I am sure some of the kids would of as well. All I have to say is thank god for there surprise visit from the news station.

Random Facts

These are just some random facts about me that no one will really care about, but I am gonna post them anyways.

1. I love candles! Every time we go somewhere I have to buy one but I never burn them. I seriously have about 75 candles never even used. My goal is to start lighting them.

2. I love slippers. Before we moved here I had 4 pair, but I put 3 pair in the trash because they had holes and were old. Well the slippers I brought were just as bad. So today I bought me a pair from Target and I was so excited. When my kids got home from school I said look I got new slippers and they didn't even seem to care. How RUDE I thought.
3. I change my  Underwear all the time. I change them before bed, when I wake up, and every time I change clothes. It is not like I am dirty or anything, I shower daily sometimes I shower twice a day, and yes I wipe after #1 and 2 very well. It is just a weird thing I do.

4. I love diet coke I mean LOVE it. I can't get enough of it. I really love fountain but a can will do. If I don't have my diet coke first thing in the morning you might want to stay out of my way.
5. I am scared of everything, yes I might even be scared of my own shadow at times. It got so bad I was doing some crazy things that only my husband knows about. I started getting really depressed and I decided I had to go to the doctor but I was scared they would think I was crazy so it took me a couple years, and now I thank god I did. She put me and some meds that have done wonders for me. I still am scared of things but not like before and the depression is non existent. Which makes me happy

Well those 5 facts probably bored who ever might read this, but you know I LOVE YOU ALL :o)

Not sure what to put here

So this is a random post that no one will understand but I have no one to talk to so I will post a little something here to try and make me feel better. I have been hurt in the past but I have got over it. I have thought something for the last few days something weird was going on and it turns out I am right. I am at a loss for words. I cant show my real emotions because I don't want my kids to know anything is going on. I want to scream, yell and cry, but I wont. I don't know why I am in shock, it is something that is to be expected but it still hurts all the same. I am not sure what will happen from here but I guess what will be will be.

Halloween

Our Halloween was a good one. We got a new couch, didn't have much to do that day so it was just a relaxing day. We took our kids for a healthy dinner to McDonald's, then off we went trick or treating. I still have not found my battery charger for my camera since we moved so we only got cell phone photos.

Thanks Linda

Five Question Friday

This is my first time doing the 5 question on Friday thing but I think I can squeeze a little time in for this. I have been so busy with moving, my kids starting a new school, and falling down the stairs and hurting my tail bone SUPER SUPER BAD. Well anyways if you want you can head over to My Little life and check out what other had to say.

 1. What is your favorite Halloween candy? York Peppermint Pattie with the orange center. They are the best and yes they taste better when it is orange and not white

 2. Do you fold your socks? Well I tuck them in to each other. Does that count as folding?

 3. What is something that you wish you had been warned about? You don't always go back to the same size as you were before you had kids

Picture 1 = before kids                Picture 2 = while pregnant w/kids                   Picture 3 = After kids

 4. What is the most significant difference between you and your significant other? I am a go with the flow type of person I tend to let people walk on me and he is a hard ass that wont put up with no ones crap

 5. What are three words you would use to describe yourself? (And, just for fun...if your significant other is around, ask him/her what 3 words they would use to describe you!!) Shy, lonely, and different

Apple Orchard

Last Sunday we took our kids and two of there friends to the apple orchard/ pumpkin patch. They have the best Carmel apples there, which I thought were a bit expensive at $5. The kids all had fun, they got to go through a couple corn mazes and one of them was completely dark which they all thought was cool. They went on a hay ride, got there face painted, tattoos, and went an a apple jolly jumper. They had fun and we got to get out of the house for awhile so I would have to say it was a good day.

Makeup Bag

I won this really cute makeup bag on Katie's blog. It is from Monogrammers Supply.  You should go check out there store they have some awesome stuff for good prices. I have a couple things in mind for Christmas presents.

Hometown Buffet

Last Sunday we took our kids to Hometown Buffet for breakfast. Alyssa went a couple weeks ago for the first time and she was amazed by the place. We have never taken our kids to a buffet so they had no clue there were places like this. Well I am not a fan of buffets so I had been avoiding going. Everyday since Alyssa had been my kids have been bugging us to go, so I finally gave in and said I would only go for breakfast. So the dreaded day came and you would of thought we were going some place special with how excited my kids were. Then once we get in they sit at the table and I tell them get up and eat and my boys look at me like I am crazy I said no really grab a plate and get what ever you want. They all think this is the best place around "not me though". I would have to say my kids had more then I had ever seen them eat at least 8 plates each and no I am not kidding. I thought for sure they would be sick and it was just a couple hours later they were hungry again.
