Valentine's

I know this is a late post but if anyone knows me they know I'm late to everything so why should my blog be any different. Well I woke up to flowers and candy from my husband. When my kids got home I gave them there box's of candy and decided to give them something they could use so they each got a body pillow which they they all loved. My husband brought home pizza for our kids and himself and brought me home Mexican food because I don't like pizza which I thought was very sweet of him to do after he had a long day at work but he also had another surprise for me which I was not expecting. He got me tickets to a Blake Shelton concert. I can't wait to see him! He is so nice looking and he has a nice voice as well.

Alyssa's B-Day Party

Alyssa decided to have a slumber party with all of her old friends that she talks to but does not see often. I figured that would be a good idea because I know all of the girls and there parents and it was a lot cheaper then a regular party. We are really tight on money right now and all we really bought was cake, pizza and popcorn.
Joe stayed away from all the girls as much as he could and Ryan liked being right in the middle of them all as you can tell. Little Aiden was there for a little bit while he was dropping his sister off for the party.

Alyssa Cake! She loves Dino's!
Well the morning after her slumber party my baby Emma was peeing blood and acting all funny. Well as some of you know Emma may be a dog but she is like one of my kids so of course I panicked. My mom came over and watched all the girls till there parents picked them up and my FIL took me to the vet. Emma had a bladder infection which cost us a pretty little penny. So much for saving money! I guess it was a good thing Alyssa's party was so cheap.

I cant forget my wonderful husband who shares a B-Day with our daughter. Thank you for being so good to us. Happy Birthday and I love you with all my heart!

Getting caught up!!

I have not done much on my blog lately, so much has gone on since October. My mom spent most of October in the ICU and it took a couple weeks to figure out what was going on with her. It came on very sudden with no warnings. We seriously didn't know weather she was gonna be OK or not and that was so very hard. A good part of the time she was in there she was totally out of it and then after her operation we thought once the sedation wore off she would be her old self again and let me tell you how wrong we were. It was a scary time for us. My mom didn't know or remember anything and didn't have any real function over her body. It is something we were not expecting at all and is rare but she came out of it. Well not totally she has a lot of bad days but the last couple day have been better. If she doesn't take her meds she can become totally unaware of her surroundings and who everyone is and lose function with her body which is a scary thought for her. She did just find out that she was approved to be on the liver donor list. She did have the doctors baffled because she has never drank beer or smoked cigarettes and she has a bad liver.

While she was in the ICU I got a call from our landlord telling me they sold our place and we had 30 days to move. Not the best time to get that news. They had a 2 bedroom we could move in to or a house in a bad school dist and so so good neighborhood so both of those were out of the question. We were lucky enough to find a bigger nicer place in the same area that cost WAY TOO MUCH MONEY, but I was in panic mode so i said OK we will take it and as much as I love this house spending $400 more every month is gonna kill us. I am not sure how were gonna make it, but I was so stressed with everything going on I just took this place. I think I am more stressed because of the holiday being here and my daughter and husbands b-day this month and not having money to buy anything for my kids. We talked to our kids about gifts and everything and they were all so sweet about it but it still can stress a person out.

Well if anyone has got this far in the post congrats! Anyways here are few pictures for me to see in the future.
Ready to trick or treat on Halloween..
Some of the kids on thanks giving. We had a full house of 20 people at our new place..

Making them to get there picture taken with Santa.
I think they secretly liked sitting on his lap.

Pumpkin Patch

We took our kids to the Roloff  Farms Pumpkin Patch last weekend since we knew they wouldn't be so busy.  It was fun and not so busy as we already knew being that we have worked for them a couple of pumpkin seasons. They had a lot to do that was free. They also had 2 tours but it cost $6 a person for each tour and being we have been there done that we decided not to do it again. We didn't buy any pumpkins we thought it was kinda early.

Ryan's B-Day and stuff

Ryan's 9th Birthday was on the 22nd so we just had a little family party for him. I can't believe this is my last year having kids in the single digit ages. Gosh I feel old and sad at the same time. My babies are growing up so fast. I remember when people would tell me they grow up so fast and how that saying would bug the crap out of me, but now I find myself saying the same thing because it is so true and sad.

Well  a couple things my kids said to me this month that I thought was funny.
~~Alyssa informed me that her whining is like crack without it I would go crazy she said. "Only if I could get her to realize with It I go crazy"
~~ Joe was wanting me to take him to the Lego store and I told him I had to put my make-up on and he said you wear make up I can't even tell, I thought you were naturally young looking. "Talk about him kissing my ass"
~~ Ryan's friend asked if Ryan could go to his house after school and Ryan told him if my mom meets your mom. So when Ryan was at the park his friends mom asked if it was OK to meet me and Ryan said I am not sure because my mom hates our house because she said we live in the ghetto. Well I never told him that and I swear we live in a really nice area but I did tell Kevin that I feel like our place is ghetto because our door mat that is only 7 months old is falling apart. When anyone steps on it pieces fall off. We went looking at them but I am to cheap to spend $20 on one. Oh ya and the inside of my house is not ghetto either I was just whining not realizing that Ryan was listening to me. I guess I know where my kids get there whining from.
Ryan with his Birthday gift from mom & dad.

Well this may not be the prettiest looking stuff but Ryan wanted cupcakes and
ice-cream sandwiches so that is what I made him and it tasted better then it looked.

Mother's Day "I am mother of the year"

I hope everyone had a good Mother's day! I had a good one, my kids all made me gifts at school and Kevin worked, then we went to my mom's for a barbecue.  Alyssa made me a coupon book, Joe made me a really cute coaster, and Ryan wrote me a poem. I have to say I am sure Ryan's teacher wants to nominate me for mother of the year after reading his poem. It was 10 of the smartest things my mom has taught me, a few of them that I liked were teaching him that it not a bad thing to stand in long lines because good things come to those who wait, never point or shoot a BB gun at his brother, TRY and keep his room clean, but my favorite and the one I should be nominated mother of the year for is that I taught him to NEVER LISTEN TO HIS DAD. Yes I will admit I told all 3 of my kids this but Alyssa & Joe knew I was joking but I have to remember that Ryan takes everything serious. If you don't tell him that you were not serious he is gonna take what you say literally. I am sure when his teacher read that she was wanting to nominate me for mother of the year. Wouldn't y'all?

It's been over a month

Hello my few peeps that actually do read this. It has been over a month since I have been on or looked at any other blogs well with exception of the ones that I get emailed to me. I am was so addicted to reading blogs I found it consuming a good part of my day. I feel like I know so many of the people of the blogs I follow. I would find myself talking about them as if they were my friends and they really have no clue who I am because 90% of them don't follow me back. I didn't think I could stay away this long but I did and now I am back in full force part time only. I have missed the only friends I have that don't even know I am alive. I was kind of sad when I looked at how many followers I had and found out that I lost 7. I know people say it don't really matter how many you have but it does to me because then I feel kind of liked even if my post are boring.

Well we have been good since my last post. We went on vacation for a week to California for my brothers wedding and while we were there we took our kids to Disneyland for there first time. Thank gosh my mom came with us because she ended up taking the 2 hour drive by herself back to where we were staying with Joe because he got really sick from the heat and my 2 year old nephew because it was just to hot that day. The rest of us ended up staying with the rest of the kids till 11:30 pm and as we were leaving Ryan said why do the commercials makes it look so fun and its really not. I guess because the day we went was so hot it was not fun standing in line for an hour in the heat.

Then Easter came and we had a good Easter this was our first year of having all 3 of our kids knowing the truth about the Easter bunny, which is that much more proof that my babies are getting older and that makes me sad. Well you know I am gonna have to post some pictures, so if you made it this far in to my long post you should stay a little longer and look at my pictures.

Valentines

I hope you all had a good Valentines. I read so many blogs this week saying how it is just another day "which yes it is" and how they think people are just foolish to go out and buy stuff for this day. Well I also know it is another day and yes I do love my husband and kids everyday and I am so thankful for them but I just love all the red and pink heart stuff and it gives me a good excuse to eat chocolate. Yes we did have a good day, I did get all my kids a treat as well and no I don't think that means I am spoiling them and that they will think they need something all the time. Just look at what my hubby got me-
This is my kids, my niece and nephew

Oh ya I almost forgot my husband also got me this for Valentines

Christmas

This is a late post as well but I decided to skip my other December post and go strait to Christmas. We went to my mom and dad's on Christmas eve along with other family. All the kids draw names and the adults buy a decoration and then we play a game to see who gets what. Well when I opened mine I was happy with it, but I was a little surprised because it was not a decoration. Well the box is a joke box the real gift was inside. Everyone was laughing as I opened it but I still didn't get that it was a joke till they told me. So I am slow sue me .I really did think it would of been a different but neat kid of thing. I got a new laptop from my hubby so now I have 2, I also got a cool donut maker which makes really good donuts I might add,  I got few other things that was just as good. Oh well on to my pictures because I am a picture person you know.

This is the Joke box but you have to agree it looks kind of neat

The night we got our tree. It was SO COLD that night

Yes Santa even gives Emma gifts and left her a cute little doggy stocking

Alyssa's B-Day Party

I am so behind on my post because dumb comcast messed with our Internet so I have not been able to post. I will start with Alyssa and Kevin's Birthday which was last month. Alyssa has not had a  friend party for the last 3 years so she decided she wanted one this year. She had it at the roller rink. She ended up with 15 kids I think. It was a LONG party. It was from 12:00-4:30, but all the kids had a good time, there was so much going on that  it went by really fast. Well Kevin and Alyssa's birthday are on  the same day so we had to get a picture of him also.

Alyssa is always begging me to buy us something that matches so we got her these for her b-day.
She was very happy but she really wants us to have matching dresses and I don't wear dresses!
