A Wigglebottom book review and giveaway

This book introduces 4-8 year olds to concepts like respect, camaraderie, teamwork and the pleasure of playing sports and games for the fun of it.  This is the tenth book in the award winning Howard B. Wigglebottom series.

The We Do Listen Non Profit Foundation is a group of  writers, artists, designers, educators, therapists, parents,  caregivers  and teachers who share a vision of a kinder world with  more harmony and  peace and a better life for everyone to enjoy. Their books, animated books, songs, posters and lessons/discussion  questions are intended to  empower young children to deal with  important life lessons like being a  better listener, bullying,  anger management, moderation, truth, divorce,  peer pressure,  belonging, generosity, sportsmanship, attention and feeling  good  about themselves.

As a parent it's very important for us to help our kids understand sportsmanship. I think it's important that our kids to understand that the point of a game is to be happy for who ever wins even if it's not you. It makes me sad how so many parents today push there kids to think winning is everything and how mad they get at the other teams and coaches. We really enjoyed this book and the meaning to the book. I think it is a good book for kids and parents to read and to learn from it. I love the fact that The we do listen company has made so many great books not only about sportsmanship but about bulling and listening among other books as well.
You could head over http://www.wedolisten.org and check out all there great books they offer. Howard B. Wigglebottom hardcover books retail for $15. They can be purchased most everywhere books are sold in the U.S. and Canada. They are on sale for $6 each or $50 for a set of all ten books (US only). What a deal! Not only does the site have books but it has games, music, and color and print your own books.

You all have a chance to win your choice of one of there books. Fill out the form below..

When I was asked to do a review involving Crayola how could I say no. Crayola is one of my favorite brands. I have tried other brands but I always go back to Crayola. They have been around forever and come out with some of the neatest stuff. I find myself getting just as involved with some of the cool stuff they offer for kids such as there Crayola Crystal Effect Window Markers and there sidewalk chalk and don't even get me started on there crayons. I have my own box that I hide from my kids because they like to take them and then I never get them back. With Easter just around the corner what better gifts then some of crayolas awsome stuff. Trust me your kids wont be dissapointed!

I have an addiction!

I have an addiction and it has really affected my life the last 3 months. My husband has not helped me at all if anything he is the main problem for my addiction. I see the stuff everywhere I go and I'm good I can walk on by and say no but then Kevin will bring it home to me after he gets off work knowing I can't say no to him.

This is the addiction that has affected my life the last 3 months

CHOCOLATE
I know I'm over weight but have never really cared.  Well now I care kinda being I have gained 12 pounds and all my shirts and jeans are too tight and I'm not gonna go out and buy new clothes. I do have a little problem though and it's that I LOVE those two things way to much.

The mini book of Grandwiches Review & Giveaway

I received one or more of the products mentioned for free using http://www.momblogsociety.com/page/the-mini-book-of-grandwiches-review-giveaway-opportunity" target="_blank">Mom Blog Society. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I was happy to be able to review this book. With a house with 3 kids and a husband that are all very picky eaters this made it fun for the kids. I gave them each the book and told them to pick one that they wanted me to make. They each pick a couple but the one they all agreed they wanted to try and ended up loving was the pepperoni safari. I have made a couple things in the book and they have all been so good and so easy to make. With 3 kids it's nice to have a quick and easy meal you can make them at anytime.

Hilarious Irish T-Shirts!

I was sent a St. Patrick's Day shirt to review. The fit was true to size for me but does shrink about size once you wash and dry it. The shirt I got to review had "I'm Irish Do I Get A Free Beer" printed on the front of it. They also have a ton of other funny shirts on there website. You should take a look at there Irish drinking t-shirts. " If your not one for bad language then I might not head over there" but I must admit they have some funny saying on there shirts.

I hate this picture of myself but it wont let me upload any of the other ones. So look at the shirt not me:0)

Joseph's Birthday

Joe turned 11 on the 28th of February in which we had family over for dinner and cake. He asked if he could have a couple friends spend the night the weekend after his birthday to play video games and watch movies not really a party just a sleep over so I thought how hard could a couple boys be, they probably wouldn't leave the TV. BOY was I wrong, he ended up having 3 boys over tonight and they are CRAZY wild. When Alyssa had her sleepover last December we ended up with 11 kids and that went really good I would of never figured having 3 boys over would be so hard. Joe is getting kinda overwhelmed with all the craziness because he is such a calm kid but he's still having fun. I'm sure next time he will only ask for one kid at a time.

So I don't know if any of you are like me when your looking at pictures and always notice the back ground, well if you are yes I know my house is a mess but it was full of people:0)
