Our only day of snow this year

So we got some snow that only lasted a day. I did not get many pictures or even good ones at that. We were lucky to have some cousins here visiting us from Washington on this day.  I was not able to get any pictures of Jared, Hailey, or Ryan because they spent the night at my moms the second night they were here which happens to be the day it snowed.  Alyssa, Megan and Joe all had a blast in the snow, they made a huge snow man in my back yard and went sledding down the hill in my front yard and had snow ball fights with all the neighborhood kids.

Christmas Morning 2009

Well we had a good Christmas as well. The kids woke up real early as always and all loved what they got for Christmas. We went to my moms for dinner where we exchanged presents with them and Jennie and her family. It was fun the kids all had a blast. I had to tell Alyssa last year that Santa was just a magic spirit and he was not real but if you don't beleave in his spirit you don't get anything and this year I had to have the same talk with Joe. They seem to be OK with what I said, and when talking about Santa they seem to really beleave in him as a spirit. Well Alyssa and Joe were totally surprised that they got there own Laptops this year and Ryan was very happy with his DSI that he got. Here are some pictures to look at.

Christmas Eve 2009

We had a good Christmas Eve. We spent it with the Marlins at my moms house. The kids drew names this year so they all got a present to open and the adults did an ornament exchange which was fun, we play a game when we do it and no one stole any ones ornament this year but I was the last to go so I got to see what everyone else got so I had Ryan still Jason's for me which he was so happy to do. I took a few pictures I am not sure if you will be able to tell but look and my moms tree this year, she decided on a Charlie Brown tree and I have to say it was really cute.

Every Christmas my kids get to open one presents which are always PJ's. I did not get any pictures and I am kind of mad at myself for that. Oh well there is always next year.

Kevin And Alyssa's B-Day

On December 8th was Alyssa's 10th B-Day and Kevin's 32nd B-Day. We did nothing exciting that day. Alyssa had school and Kev worked his normal 937468 hour day. My mom, Mike, Jennie, and her kids came over for dinner "TACOS". Oh how I hate cooking tacos, they are so messy to make well at least the way they like them but it is both of there favorite dinner, so I guess I could make it for them on their b-day. We also had cake Alyssa's was a yellow cake no frosting her favorite and Kev's was a yellow cake with chocolate frosting his favorite. Here are a few pictures or should I say a lot from their day.

Our Christmas Tree

So are family went and got a tree and it was freezing cold that night and Kevin wanted to stay in the car so he did. I found the perfect tree not to tall not to short and not to fat, then Ryan said he found the perfect one which was as short as he is so I told him lets keep looking, Joe did not care he was to cold and just wanted to get home, then Alyssa said I found the one I love it we have to get it mom so I went to look at it and it was huge and I said noway, so we keep looking and Kevin decides to get out of the car and Alyssa got to him before I even seen him and as most know Kevin cant say no to her so she got her fat 9 1/2 foot tree. We got it home and all trimmed up and could not find a place for it because it is just that fat, we dragged all over and I was done with it. Then Alyssa said lets put it in the dining room which I thought is a good idea because it is a good size room. The kids got it all decorated and nice. See the picture it is just perfect.
Sorry the tree is so big I could not get it all in the picture

Then the tree fell no one was even around it. All the decorations fell off, about 10-15 of them broke and my tree topper that I have had before I even had Alyssa broke. I had to vacuum all the glass but after that I did not even want to deal with that fat dumb tall tree. Thank gosh my mom came over the next day and helped me put it all back together and now I love my FULL tall tree.

OH YA AND IT ONLY COST $15 "NICE"

Alyssa's Count down to Christmas

Well Alyssa and her brothers were talking and decided they did not want a advent calender this year because they don't like the chocolate. So Alyssa and I decided to make our own count down to christmas calander and put our own ideas under each number. A couple example's are a special treat in their lunch, a family Christmas movie night with hot chocolate and popcorn, and going out to dinner, those are just a few things. Well she did most of it but I did help a little.

Alyssa's 3-D Owl

Alyssa has a 3-D Owl project due this Friday and this is what she came up with. I think she did a good job being she did it all by her self. She even had to put a Tootsie roll sucker in the hand.

SkyDiving October-2009

Well my friend Jessica from Las Vegas and I went skydiving in October. We had a lot of fun. Most people that know me would of never thought I would do something like this. I never even got scared, once I got on the plane I thought for sure I would back out but still I was not nervous, then it is time to scoot yes I said scoot not jump out of the plane and I thought for sure I am not gonna want to do this once I look out but I still was not scared then we scoot our butts out of the plane and everything hits me at once my nose is running like crazy and I am sure snot was getting all over the guy behind me and my eyes were watering like crazy, it is freezing cold and I just knew my ears were gonna fall off, it was the worst pain I had ever had, it hurt so bad then the parachute thing comes out and then my nose calms down which I am sure the guy behind me was happy that the unknown substance that was getting all over him was not any more and I could see because my eyes were not watering anymore and I was so numb that I was no longer feeling any pain and I then loved the rest of my way down and I would love to do it again.

P.S. Notice I am not wearing that cute suit that Jessica is wearing thank God.
